How do I find my Device ID?

Your Device ID is a unique identifier Scriptation uses to associate certain licenses with the specific device you're using. When something isn't working as expected, sharing your Device ID with our Support team helps us track down the issue much faster.

📝 NOTE: Your Device ID is different from your Apple ID. If you need to find which Apple ID is signed in instead, see How do I check which Apple ID is logged into my device?

How to find your Device ID

  1. Open Scriptation and touch or click the File Browser — the three-line menu () at the top-left of the Top Toolbar;

  1. In the File Browser, touch or click Settings in the bottom-left corner;

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings menu and tap Device ID.

✅ TIP: Tap "Copy" to copy it to your clipboard, then paste it directly into your support email.

Sharing your Device ID with Support

Once you have your Device ID copied, send it over with as much detail about the issue as possible — what you were doing when the issue happened, which device you're on, and any screenshots or screen recordings — using the Send us an email button at the bottom of any help desk page or in the "Contact Us" link in-app.

💡 TIP: If your issue involves a specific script or layer, you can also share the file with our Support team so we can investigate alongside it.
