How do I find my User ID or Device ID for support?

Your User ID and Device ID are the two identifiers Scriptation's Support team uses to investigate issues across our systems. Sharing both in your support email lets us pinpoint your account, check subscription and licensing status, and track down device-specific problems — much faster than us asking for them later.

📝 NOTE: Both IDs are different from your Apple ID. If you need to find which Apple ID is signed in to your device, see How do I check which Apple ID is logged into my device?.

User ID — for account and subscription questions

Your User ID lets us look up your Scriptation account and check subscription status and purchase history for Industry Pro.

  1. Open Scriptation tap the ... menu in the top right;
  2. Select Settings;
  3. Select the Account tab;
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and tap User ID.

✅ TIP: Tap Copy to put it on your clipboard, then paste it directly into your support email.

Device ID — for device-specific issues

Your Device ID identifies the specific iPad, iPhone, or Mac you're working on. It's the right one to share when troubleshooting Team or Enterprise-related issues.

  1. Open Scriptation tap the ... menu in the top right;
  2. Select Settings;
  3. Select the Account tab;
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and tap Device ID.

✅ TIP: Tap Copy to put it on your clipboard, then paste it directly into your support email.

Sharing both IDs with Support

When you reach out via the Send us an email button at the bottom of any help desk page (or the Contact Us link in-app), include both IDs at the top of your message along with:
