How do I search for a word or phrase?

Search for keywords within script text and annotations

Whether you're searching for props, locations, or even dialogue, Scriptation's Search lets you use keywords or phrases to instantly scour your script text and notes for results.

In Scriptation 6.0, open Search from the three-dot menu (⋯) at the top-right of the screen:

Tap ⋯ at the top-right;
Tap Search.

In the search field, type the word or phrase you're looking for. The search function provides results as you type.

To navigate to a particular script page that contains your search term, simply tap the search result.

✅ TIP: If you search often, you can pin the Search icon directly to the Top Toolbar for faster access — see Customizing the Top Toolbar.
