I'm getting an Invalid Receipt error message. Help!
I'm trying to activate Industry Pro, and I'm getting an Error: Invalid Receipt message. Help!
First, let's check that your device is connected to the internet, and is running the most current version of Scriptation. For the current version details, plus instructions on how to update, click here.
Next, try powering off / on the device that originated the Scriptation subscription, as well as the device that is giving the error message. Believe it or not - this often fixes it!
Make sure that all of your devices are connected with the same Apple ID, and that this Apple ID is what was used for the Industry Pro purchase. This can be checked from the Apple Settings menu. Each device will show a full list of devices that are active within an Apple ID.
Check that all of your devices recognize that you have an active subscription. To check your subscription status on each device, click here.
NOTE for Team & Team Studio users: This error message also occurs when trying to activate a Team license through the Individual license process. Click for specific instructions to activate Team or Team Studio.
