I'm getting an Invalid Receipt error message. Help!

I'm trying to activate Industry Pro, and I'm getting an Error: Invalid Receipt message. Help!



Try these steps in order — most of the time, one of them resolves it.


  1. Check your internet connection and Scriptation version. Make sure your device is online and running the most current version of Scriptation. See Current Version and System Requirements for the latest version and update instructions;


  1. Power off and back on both devices. Restart the device that originated the Scriptation subscription and the device giving the error. Believe it or not — this often fixes it;


  1. Verify your Apple ID. Make sure all of your devices are signed in with the same Apple ID, and that this Apple ID is what was used for the Industry Pro purchase. See How do I check which Apple ID is logged into my device? for how to verify — each device will show a full list of devices active within the same Apple ID:


On Mac:



On iPad / iPhone:



  1. Confirm your subscription is active on each device. See How do I check my subscription status? for the steps;


  1. Try Restore Purchases. This reconnects your subscription if Scriptation has lost track of it. See I purchased Industry Pro. How do I activate it on all of my devices? for the walkthrough.
