Using Scribble on iPad
NOTE: This video shows a slightly older user interface but the instructions are still accurate.
Scriptation is fully compatible with Scribble, Apple's handwriting-to-text tool.
You can write in any text field, such as Text Boxes and Sticky Notes, and the writing will be converted to typed text.
NOTE: Scribble is exclusively available on iPad, and is designed for use with the Apple Pencil.
If it's not enabled already, go to the Settings menu, open Apple Pencil and toggle Scribble on:

With Scribble enabled, you can now create a Text Box and write directly into the text field:

Scribble also works with Sticky Notes:

When you tap your Apple Pencil into any text field, the Scribble toolbar will be displayed at the bottom of the screen:
With this toolbar, you can:
Undo / Redo actions
Display the mini-keyboard
Reduce or enlarge the text (touch the Paragraph icon to show or hide the sizing icons)
Turn on the dictation feature
Insert a line break
