How do I delete a layer?

Delete a Layer from the Layers sidebar's 3-dot menu → Edit, then tap the red minus icon next to the Layer name.


⚠️ HEADS UP: Deleting a Layer is permanent — all annotations on that Layer are removed and can't be recovered. If you want to keep a backup, Duplicate the Layer (from the same 3-dot menu) first.


  1. Tap the Layers icon on the Top Toolbar:



✅ TIP: If the Layers icon isn't showing in the Top Toolbar, touch or click the plus sign on the right side to show additional icons. To pin it permanently, see Customizing the Top Toolbar.


  1. Tap the 3-dot menu at the upper right of the Layers sidebar and choose Edit:



  1. Tap the red minus (—) icon on the row of the Layer you want to delete:



  1. Tap the red Delete button, then OK to confirm. The Layer is permanently removed:
