How to fix an incorrect Note Transfer
When you do a Note Transfer, Scriptation automatically adds an additional layer with the notes that were just transferred, so it's easy to reverse and recover from a mistake.
If you accidentally transferred notes from a new script to an old script
- Go to your old script and touch or click the Layers icon in the Top Toolbar:
he incorrectly-transferred notes from your new script are in a new layer of their own; it'll be the one at the bottom of the list. By selecting the other layer, all of your old notes will be restored.
- Once the layer is restored, navigate to the new script and do the transfer again.
If you accidentally transferred notes from the wrong old script to a new script
- In the new script, touch or click the Layers icon in the Top Toolbar:
- The incorrectly-transferred notes from your wrong old script are in a new layer of their own; it'll be the one at the bottom of the list. Touch or click the other layer.
- Then to delete the incorrect layer; touch or click the 3-dot menu at the upper right of the Layers sidebar and choose Edit:
- Touch or click the red minus sign icon, then Delete, then OK:
Now you can do a Note Transfer from the correct draft.
