How do I hide or find the Annotation Toolbar?

To hide or show the Top Toolbar, tap an empty area of the page with your finger. Tap again to bring it back.

The same tap hides the Thumbnail Bar at the bottom of the screen. The Annotation Toolbar stays visible if it was open.

Using Apple Pencil? Tap with your finger, not the Pencil;
No Apple Pencil? Deselect any active annotation tool first, then tap an empty area.

If the Top Toolbar never hides on iPad or iPhone, Always show top toolbar may be on. Turn it off under Settings → Toolbars.

✅ TIP: If tapping doesn't show or hide the toolbar, close and reopen Scriptation. If that doesn't help, restart your device.
