I opened my Scriptation PDF in another app and lost my notes.

Because Scriptation uses advanced layering, we don't recommend opening or editing Scriptation PDFs in other apps -- other apps can cause the layers to not work correctly in Scriptation. This can make it look like your notes are gone.
