How do I manage my individual Scriptation account?

Your individual Scriptation subscription is managed through your Apple ID in the App Store, while your Scriptation account — signed in with Sign in with Apple under ⋯ → Settings → Account — is used for AI Voices and future cross-device features.

Your Apple ID handles your subscription, billing, and purchases through the App Store.
Your Scriptation account (Scriptation 6.0 and later) is required for AI Voices — usage is tracked across all your signed-in devices, so playback you start on iPad keeps counting on Mac. We recommend signing in even if you don't use AI Voices. See How do I sign in to my Scriptation account?

Using Scriptation on multiple devices

Industry Pro follows your Apple ID, not a device or email address. Install Scriptation on each iPhone, iPad, or Mac signed in with the same Apple ID; if Pro features don't unlock right away, tap Restore purchases — see I purchased Industry Pro. How do I activate it on all of my devices? Using the same Apple ID on more than one device doesn't add a second charge.

Your files are separate from your subscription. Files saved in On My iPad or On My iPhone stay on that device, while files in a cloud folder (iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive) appear on every device signed in to that cloud account. See How do I sync files across devices?

On a Team, Enterprise, or On Campus license instead? Team members activate each device with the License Key from their Team Admin; Enterprise and On Campus users activate with an activation link. Use the Send us an email button at the bottom of this page if you need a new activation link.

Deleting your Scriptation account

Deleting your Scriptation account is different from cancelling a subscription:

Cancelling a subscription (in the App Store) stops future billing. You keep your files and annotations, and the app drops to the free version when the paid period ends.
Deleting your Scriptation account (in Scriptation) removes the sign-in itself. AI Voices stops working, and AI Voices usage history tied to the account is erased. Your local files aren't touched.

To delete your Scriptation account

Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) at the top-right and select Settings;
Tap the Account tab;
Scroll to the bottom and in the footer of the last section use the link in tap here;
Confirm the deletion when prompted.

⚠️ HEADS UP: Deleting your Scriptation account is permanent, and it does not cancel any App Store subscription. To stop being billed for Industry Pro or AI Voices, cancel in the App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) — see How do I cancel or unsubscribe from Industry Pro?
