Why can't I open more than three documents at a time?
The free version of Scriptation allows users to have up to three documents open at a time. That means users who aren’t on a paid subscription or trial for any of the Industry Pro, Team, On Campus, or Enterprise plans can only have up to three documents open at a time.
Scriptation is run by a small team that relies on paid subscriptions in order to support the development of new features. By limiting the number of documents that users can have simultaneously open in the free version of Scriptation, we encourage users to consider the value Scriptation brings to their workflow.
We understand that not everyone has the financial means to pay for a subscription. In an effort to help the app be more affordable for those who are struggling, we recommend seeing if you might be eligible for an industry union, guild, or organization discount. Additionally, we offer educational discounts to students, and licenses to schools and universities enrolled in our On Campus program.
If you feel that Scriptation provides great value to your work, our hope is that you can support our growing team and the development of new features and consider upgrading to a paid plan!
