How do I add revision colors to my script?
Scriptation can automatically color your revised pages (blue, pink, yellow, green, etc.) based on the revision color notated in each page's header — no manual page-coloring required.
This is handled by the Revision Colors Info Layer, part of Scriptation's Info Layers feature.
Turning on revision colors
- With your script open, tap Layers on the Top Toolbar;

- In the Layers side panel, find the Info Layers section and toggle on Revision Colors;

- Scriptation reads each page's header and applies the matching color from the WGA revision color wheel.
Customizing revision colors
Open the Settings option at the bottom of the Layers side panel to set where the revision color appears:

- Left — Displays the revision color as a bar in the left margin of each page;
- Sides — Displays the revision color as bars in both the left and right margins;
- Full — Changes the entire page background to match the revision color.
Which colors are supported
Revision Colors uses the standard WGA revision color wheel: White → Blue → Pink → Yellow → Green → Goldenrod → Buff → Salmon → Cherry → Tan, then a second Blue revision, second Pink, and so on.
For the Info Layer to detect a page's revision color, the color name needs to be in the center header of each page. See How should my script be formatted? for header conventions.
