To copy an annotation, touch or click it and choose Copy. Then touch and hold where you want it, on any page or in another Scriptation file, and choose Paste.

Copy and paste is handy for:

• Duplicating an annotation (or make it a Saved Annotation);
• Retrieving deleted annotations after a Note Transfer;
• Moving annotations across layers and pages;
• Rebuilding notes by hand on pages Note Transfer couldn't place. See My note transfer didn't work. Help!.

Start by touching or clicking the annotation you'd like to copy. From the pop-up menu, choose Copy; the pop-up then disappears:

Next, navigate to where you'd like to paste — a different page, or even a different Scriptation file. Touch or click, then hold anywhere on the screen and select Paste:

The annotation is pasted in, with additional options (which vary by annotation type):

• Cut — remove the annotation to place it elsewhere;
• Copy — copy the annotation to place it elsewhere;
• Select More… — add other annotations to this selection group;
• Edit — edit a pasted text annotation;
• Style Palette — adjust the annotation's attributes;
• Save — save this annotation for later use;
• Layer — move or copy the annotation to a different layer;
• Note — attach a Note to this annotation;
• Tag — tag the annotation into a category;
• Trash — delete this annotation.
