I have an Industry Pro subscription, and I'm being asked to upgrade. Help!

As long as your devices are signed in with the same Apple ID, all of them should have Industry Pro features unlocked. However, if you have an active subscription and are prompted to upgrade when accessing an Industry Pro feature or opening more than three documents, your subscription info from the App Store needs to be reconnected to Scriptation. This uncommon issue usually occurs after updating your device's operating system or the app. Thankfully, fixing this is super easy!


How to Reconnect Your Active Industry Pro Subscription


Method #1: Update Scriptation


As is the case with most bugs, updating Scriptation will often resolve the issue. Visit the Scriptation page on the App Store and select Update to install the latest version.

Method #2: Use Restore Purchases


If updating doesn't reconnect your subscription, or if you'd prefer to stay on your current version, use Restore Purchases.


In Scriptation 6.0 and later:


  1. Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) at the top-right and select Settings;
  2. Go to the Account tab;
  3. Under Subscription Actions, tap Restore purchases.




In Scriptation 5.1.16 and earlier:


  1. Open the File Browser (☰) at the upper left and tap Settings;
  2. Touch or click Upgrade to open the upgrade window;
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select Restore Purchases.

Restore Purchases reestablishes the connection between your subscription in the App Store and Scriptation on the affected device.
